Beets
Another superfood, not only is the beet root packed with folate (37% daily recommended dose in one cup) but the greens are an incredible source of Potassium with 50% of your daily recommended value in just one cup plus many other benefits. Excellent for heart health and fitness recovery.
Currently growing are Early Wonder, Golden Beets, Formanova, and Red Ace. Look for harvest in around the end of March!
Tomatoes
Tomatoes are an easy-to-eat and use fruit. Starting with grape tomatoes and San Marzano tomatoes, we are growing non-GMO tomatoes that will provide consumers with snacks, salad additions, and sauce-friendly ones as well.
Quick, healthy meals are complimented by tomatoes. Whether you are making a salad or boiling a pot of pasta, tomatoes support heart health and are rich in antioxidants as well.
Black Plum, Prairie Fire, and Tommy Toe tomatoes are on our upcoming planting schedule!
Kale
Kale is a superfood packed with an abundance of Vitamin K and C and is also a great source of Vitamins A and B, Manganese, Calcium, and Potassium. It is great in smoothies, salads, soups, roasted, or sauteed!
Basil
We are growing basil not only for its flavor, but part of our commitment to organic pest management as well.
This fragrant and delicious herb is fantastic not only when eaten raw in caprese salads or chopped for pesto, cooked and used in pasta sauces and soups, but it is also delicious when used in herbal tea! It is an anti-inflammatory and has anti-bacterial properties too. Super!!
Lettuces and Leafy Greens
Lettuces and other greens are essential in salads and on sandwiches. We will vary our green varieties, so be sure to subscribe so you know what is coming up!

Mint
Mint is a delightful way to enhance salads, make herbal teas, or even chew on by itself to freshen your breath! It is known for its powerful gut health and digestive benefits. If you suffer from IBS or other digestive issues, mint could be just the thing to add to your diet.
Mint is one other herb that we are using to help with organic pest management. We aim to plant herbs that deter pests so we don't have to use chemicals. Learn more about mint in the mint profile page here.
Oregano
Oregano is a standout herb that is essential in Italian dishes. You can smell it from the next room and it also aids in digestion and acts as an anti-inflammatory too!
We are using Oregano as a natural pest deterrent as well. Not only is it a delicious herb, but its strong fragrance tells pests to stay out.
Lemongrass
We LOVE Lemongrass. It is a powerful, beautiful, fast-growing grass that is used in not only in Thai dishes but also stands out in tea and acts as an anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and anti-microbial. It is also known to soothe stomach aches and calm anxiety!
And, you guessed it. It is also planted as part of our organic pest management approach.
